18-year-old prodigy Ansh Yadav announced himself in style with a dazzling maiden century, scoring 104 off just 61 balls for Kanpur Superstars against Lucknow Falcons.

Yadav’s innings was a mix of elegance and aggression, including 11 fours and 5 sixes, as he guided Kanpur to a match-winning total of 192/5. The Falcons had no answer, falling short by 28 runs.

The youngster was awarded Player of the Match and is now being hailed as one of the most exciting new talents of UPPL 2025. In one of the most dramatic finishes in UPPL history, No. 10 batter Dinesh Rawat played the innings of his life, smashing 43 not out from just 16 balls to seal a last-over win for the Noida Ninjas.

Chasing 180, Noida was struggling at 131/8 when Rawat walked in. What followed was pure madness—4 sixes and 3 boundaries in a stunning display of lower-order hitting.

The final six came with 2 balls to spare, sending the crowd into a frenzy and giving Rawat cult-hero status overnight.
