University of Plymouth Selects Robosys for Advanced USV Autonomy Integration

The University of Plymouth has officially selected Robosys Automation, a global leader in maritime autonomy and artificial intelligence, to integrate advanced autonomous navigation systems into its fleet of Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs).

This collaboration represents a significant step forward in the University’s ongoing commitment to pioneering sustainable marine technology and supporting next-generation maritime research. Under the agreement, Robosys will provide its Voyager AI autonomy platform, designed to deliver scalable, COLREG-compliant autonomy across a range of vessel classes.

The integration of Robosys’ autonomy suite will support a range of academic and applied research initiatives led by the University’s Marine Autonomous Systems (MAS) Research Group.
