The Milwaukee Brewers have rewritten the record books — and they did it the only way they know how: with another late-game rally that’s quickly becoming their trademark.
In front of a roaring home crowd, the Brewers overcame a 4–2 deficit to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 6–4, notching their 13th consecutive victory and setting a new franchise single-season record for most wins in a row.
The game flipped in the seventh inning when the Brewers erupted for four runs, capped by a go-ahead single from veteran leader Christian Yelich, who has found a new gear this month. Young sensation Jackson Chourio continued his breakout season with two hits and two RBIs, fueling the offense once again.
“You feel like we’re never out of a game,” Yelich said after the win. “We believe in each other, and we’re having a lot of fun.”
The Brewers now sit atop the MLB standings and have outscored opponents 82–39 during the streak. Pitchers like Freddy Peralta and Devin Williams continue to dominate late innings, while the lineup delivers in clutch moments night after night.
Milwaukee’s blend of youth and experience has created the perfect storm — and now, they’re not just chasing wins. They’re chasing history.
