PRSU Students of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), Raipur, have voiced strong opposition to the recent hike in re-evaluation fees, terming it an “unjust burden” on candidates already facing academic pressure.
The university reportedly increased the fee for re-evaluation applications, sparking discontent across multiple departments. Many students argue that instead of ensuring fair assessment, the administration is making rechecking unaffordable for those who genuinely suspect errors in evaluation.
Student groups staged demonstrations inside the campus, demanding an immediate rollback of the hike. They claimed that the decision disproportionately affects those from economically weaker backgrounds, who cannot afford the higher charges but still deserve a fair review of their answer sheets.
Representatives of student unions said they would escalate the agitation if the administration failed to reconsider the decision.
