Milan opened the scoring early when Leão sliced through the Fiorentina defense to set up Christian Pulisic for a clean finish. The visitors, however, showed resilience. In the second half, Nico González equalized from the penalty spot after VAR confirmed a handball by Fikayo Tomori.
