aircraft crash The Indian government has strongly rebuked a wave of misinformation after pro-Pakistan social media handles claimed that three IAF jets crashed in just two hours, citing “unknown electronic interference.”
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) called out these posts as completely baseless.
In reality, it was the PC-7 Mk II training aircraft, not multiple fighter jets, that crashed during a routine training mission.
The IAF’s official statement confirmed the pilot’s safe ejection.
Authorities have warned people to exercise caution and not to spread unverified or sensational claims, particularly those that could exacerbate cross-border tensions.
