Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has confirmed receiving three technical bids for the renovation of stations along Line-5. The project intends to upgrade aging infrastructure and bring facilities in line with newer corridors of the metro network.
The renovation package includes structural repairs, platform upgrades, refurbished ticket counters, and improved passenger information systems. Once the bids are evaluated, DMRC will move to the financial bidding stage before awarding the contract.
Officials say the renovations will be executed in phases to ensure minimum disruption to daily metro operations.
