The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has received three bids for the proposed renovation work across multiple stations on Line-5, also known as the Green Line. The project aims to modernize station interiors, improve commuter amenities, and enhance overall safety standards.
Officials said the renovation plan includes upgraded flooring, improved lighting, redesigned entry–exit areas, and better accessibility for differently abled passengers. With three companies now competing for the contract, DMRC is expected to finalise the winning bidder in the coming weeks.
The project is part of DMRC’s broader initiative to upgrade older corridors and create a more seamless travel experience across the network.
