The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $750 million after no winning ticket was drawn on Saturday, August 23. With the next drawing set for Monday at 10:59 p.m. ET, lottery players across the U.S. are eagerly purchasing tickets for a shot at one of the largest prizes in Powerball history.

The cash value of the jackpot is approximately $338.6 million, and players have the choice between a lump-sum payment or an annuity spread out over 29 years. The odds of winning the jackpot remain 1 in 292.2 million.

To win the grand prize, players must match five white balls in any order and the red Powerball. While the top prize often grabs the headlines, there are nine ways to win, with prizes starting from $4 for matching just the Powerball.

The “Double Play” feature, available in some states, gives players a second chance to win up to $10 million in a separate drawing. Saturday’s Double Play numbers were 16, 19, 32, 33, 39 and Powerball 3.

Tickets for Monday’s draw must be purchased before the cut-off time, which varies by state — usually one to two hours before the drawing.

Winners are strongly advised to sign their tickets, keep them safe, and contact their state lottery office for claim instructions. Legal and financial counsel is also recommended.

The growing jackpot continues to generate massive public interest and media coverage, as hopefuls prepare for one of the most anticipated drawings of 2025.
