Gold prices witnessed an upward trend today across major Indian cities, including Mumbai and Delhi, as global market sentiment turned positive for the precious metal. The increase comes amid heightened investor interest and fluctuations in the US dollar index.
In Mumbai, the price of 24-karat gold has climbed to around ₹6,250 per gram, while 22-karat gold is trading near ₹5,730 per gram. Similarly, in Delhi, 24K gold is priced around ₹6,270 per gram, reflecting a steady gain from the previous session.
Experts believe that festive demand, coupled with international uncertainty, will continue to support gold prices in the near term.
