Kali Uchis has officially launched her Sincerely, Tour—her first major tour since becoming a mother—and she’s making it clear this is no ordinary chapter in her career. The Grammy-winning artist revealed that motherhood has deepened her emotional connection to music, allowing her to tap into a more intimate, vulnerable side of her artistry.
“This tour isn’t just about performing my new album,” she said backstage before opening night. “It’s about showing up fully—as a mother, as a daughter, and as a woman who’s lived a lot in the past year.”
The show is said to feature a more stripped-down set design, focusing less on spectacle and more on story. Several songs include audio snippets from her newborn and even tributes to her late mother. “Everything I sing now carries new meaning,” she shared. “It’s like the love I feel has grown roots.”
