Touring has taken on an entirely new shape for Kali Uchis after the birth of her first child. The Colombian-American artist shared that her priorities have shifted—and with them, the way she approaches the road. Rather than leaving family behind, she’s bringing them along.
“This is a family tour,” Uchis explained. “My baby is coming with me, and we’re making it a memory we’ll share forever.”
She said her partner, fellow artist Don Toliver, is also involved in helping to make the experience nurturing, not draining. “I used to push myself too hard, but now I know better. I have someone watching me grow—not just fans, but my child. That changes everything.”
