In a show of solidarity after Congress-RJD’s dismal Bihar poll results, Siddaramaiah met Rahul Gandhi and offered encouragement, according to sources. The Karnataka CM insisted their discussion was solely focused on the Bihar election, dismissing any notion of political maneuvering within the party.
He reassured Gandhi of the party’s backing: “He’s our leader … we told him not to lose his spirit.”
Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah stressed that no talk of reshuffling the cabinet took place, signaling that despite the electoral setback, Congress wants to maintain stability rather than change leadership.
