Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Saturday to discuss the party’s dismal performance in the recent Bihar Assembly elections. According to Siddaramaiah, the entire conversation remained focused on the electoral setback, and there was no discussion about any cabinet reshuffle.
Speaking to the media afterward, Siddaramaiah was candid: “He’s our leader, so we encouraged him … there was a setback, but he said he’s not worried about it.”
The Karnataka CM also addressed speculation about internal changes within Congress, firmly rejecting any talk of leadership overhaul.
