In a late-night announcement on August 8 (Friday), the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) confirmed that the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2025, earlier scheduled for August 13, has been postponed.
The Commission stated that fresh exam dates will be announced soon. While no specific reason for the deferment was provided in the notice, SSC assured aspirants that the challenge process for questions in the Selection Post/Phase XIII exam will be taken up after the conclusion of the ongoing test.
This sudden change has left many candidates revising their preparation timelines, as the CGL exam is one of the most competitive recruitment tests in India, attracting lakhs of aspirants each year.
