“Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” which hit theatres on October 2, has now completed its 12th day at the box office. The romantic-comedy, featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, appears to be entering a plateau phase.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film earned ₹1.15 crore (net) on its 12th day — a significant drop from the weekend surge.
With this, the 12-day cumulative net collection has reached ₹51.00 crore within India.
The film’s box office trajectory shows that:
- Weekends (Days 9, 10, 11) saw stronger footfall, with each day banking in the ₹2–3+ crore range.
- But Mondays have traditionally been weak for mass appeal titles, and Day 12 continued that trend.
While crossing the ₹50 crore mark gives the film a notable benchmark, the slide in weekday collections points to a potential challenge ahead in sustaining momentum.
For context, “Kantara: Chapter 1,” released on the same day, has overshadowed SSKTK’s performance by crossing ₹450 crore in the same span — illustrating the steep competition in the marketplace.
